Over a decade ago, Meijer Handling Solutions developed the 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀, an innovative fork system with 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 that move in opposite directions when the lower rollers contact the ground. This clever mechanism allows goods on 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗽-𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 to be easily lifted from the floor 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵/𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹 attachment.

We promoted this unique invention widely online, which led to an unexpected request from a foreign humanitarian organization at the time: they wanted RollerForks with a lifting capacity of 8,000 kg (17,600 pounds), far exceeding our standard 3,000 kg capacity.

When we asked which forklift this would be mounted on, we discovered it was actually intended for a wheel loader! This surprising request turned out to be for 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟰𝟲𝟯𝗟 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀, marking the start of a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗜® 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 for us, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Now, many years later, we are a 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 of Rollerized Tine Extenders used worldwide to efficiently load a variety of 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝟭 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, a partnership we’re incredibly proud of!
