Ah, the eternally burning question: Are 1150mm forks suitable for EPAL pallet operations?

Of course, as a forklift driver or warehouse manager, this is probably not your biggest concern. You, the seasoned professional, obviously know that these forks are “suitable.” After all, on the short side of the pallet you stick them all the way in and on the long side… well, then you just extend them a bit and hope for the best. Simple, right? Well, maybe not.

Simplicity at its finest, without offending anyone, of course. But let’s be serious for a moment: what happens when the load isn’t evenly distributed or the pallet sizes vary? Every forklift driver is trained to make sure the forks are fully inserted to ensure maximum stability. But oh well, sometimes the corners get a little sloppy because who cares about a little protruding fork here and there? The order then is: to just make sure the job gets done quickly and efficiently and try to avoid any major incidents like broken pallets or falling goods that could result from improper handling.

Of course, this isn’t the safest method and the risk of damage to the products or surrounding pallets is real. But rest assured, there is hope.

Enter telescopic forks—the flexible solution that ensures you always have the right length for those EPAL pallets. And voila, you have a worry-free forklift driver – or at least someone less likely to cause damage.

Almost forgot, don’t underestimate the importance of using the correct fork length for minimizing damage and increasing safety.
