Strong Start for KOOI® Products in Algeria: Batilinks Delivers Efficient Container Handling Solutions
Our distributor of KOOI® products in Algeria, Batilinks, has started the year with impressive momentum. Several KOOI® solutions have already been successfully delivered to the market, including KOOI® RollerForks, a valuable addition alongside our well-known hydraulic extendable forks, now widely available in Algeria.
One of the first notable applications can be seen at Aramex, a logistics service provider. In a recently recorded video, Aramex demonstrates how large bulk bags of food are unloaded from a sea container using KOOI® RollerForks and placed onto standard pallets for storage. Once palletized, the bags can be easily transported and positioned in warehouse racking as required.
Why Aramex chose KOOI® RollerForks
Aramex selected KOOI® RollerForks primarily for their speed, reliability, and fully mechanical operation. Unlike push/pull attachments, RollerForks do not require hydraulics, eliminating the risk of hydraulic oil leaks. This is particularly important in food logistics, where cleanliness and contamination prevention are critical.
Faster unloading also leads to shorter container turnaround times, helping reduce overall logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
Faster handling compared to push/pull systems
KOOI® RollerForks offer a clear performance advantage over traditional push/pull systems.
Where push/pull attachments need to clamp and drag the slipsheet, requiring additional movements and stops, RollerForks work differently:
- The forks glide smoothly underneath the plastic slipsheet
- No clamping action is required
- The forklift does not need to stop during pickup
- Pallets can be handled immediately after slip-sheeted loads are placed
This allows operators to position loads quickly and precisely, and to withdraw the forks smoothly without disturbing the goods.
How RollerForks work
Inside each RollerFork is a cartridge system with layered rollers.
When the rollers touch the floor or another surface, they rotate in opposite directions. This counter-rotation ensures that:
- The load stays in place while the forklift reverses
- The goods remain stable during transfer
As soon as the forks are lifted, the cartridges automatically return to their resting position. At that point, the load sits securely on the solid fork section, exactly like with conventional forklift forks, eliminating any risk of movement.
Simple technology. Powerful results.
KOOI® RollerForks combine mechanical simplicity with outstanding performance.
No hydraulics. No complex systems. Just smart engineering that delivers speed, safety, and reliability in real-world logistics operations.
With partners like Batilinks in Algeria, we are proud to see KOOI® products supporting efficient material handling across new markets.
