Meijer Handling Solutions offers the option to add lift height to a standard forklift mast. The “mast height extension” is especially useful if the existing mast does not meet the required lifting height. For rough terrain or side loader applications, we have developed the “single height shift” system, which allows loads to be transported level during movement over uneven or inclined surfaces to prevent a long load from sliding off the forks.
With the KOOI® fork carriage as an additional lifting attachment, the forklift’s lift height is increased. This accessory is ideal for applications where, for example, the distance between warehouse racks needs to be increased and the mast height is no longer sufficient. The KOOI® fork carriage is also a more elegant solution than installing a four-way lift mast.
For companies that need to transport long loads, particularly using so-called side loader forklifts, it may be necessary to move one of the forklift forks up and down due to the uneven, hilly terrain the forklift operates on. If the load’s height is not adjusted correctly, it could slide off the forks, leading to potential consequences like damage or even injuries.
