How to effectively Weld a Forklift Pantograph System
At 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗷𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, we produce the globally recognized 𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗜® 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 and other logistics products and attachments, including 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀. We manufacture the components of the pantograph at Meijer-Metal, and here we also assemble the entire system, all under 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿.
It’s a given that making essential parts for a forklift requires them to meet a host of standards, spanning quality and, of course, cost. It’s evident that these criteria are intertwined. This balance is achievable largely due to the automation and robotization of many processes at Meijer.
Currently, this product involves 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀 and 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, with both input and output managed by AGVs. During the daytime, a sizable “buffer” warehouse gets stocked with semi-finished items, and at night, these items are finalized. This approach not only reduces costs but also ensures consistent quality. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
