State-of-the-art welding at Meijer Handling Solutions ensures the highest quality
Every weld made by Meijer Handling Solutions is in accordance with our stringent welding procedures and specifications, which have been tested and approved by an independent inspection service. The welds are only performed by trained and authorized welders and we comply to the ISO standard 3834-2. This standard further ensures the safety of our products. The procedures and specifications not only apply to our forklift attachments but also to our OEM business. To keep our quality on the highest level while continually striving for even greater improvements, we employ our own in-house International Welding Engineer.
The European standard ISO 3834-2 represents quality demands for welding and for fusion welding of metallic material. Only when the specific conditions for welding are maintained, the quality of welds can be guaranteed. For example welding qualifications, method qualifications, technical design and management and storage of welding additives are realized by procedures. The ISO 3834-2 is covered in the ISO 9001-2015 (Quality management systems).
Our international welding engineer has the demonstrated education, experience, and knowledge in specialized fields of welding, brazing, cutting and materials joining. Welding engineering is a broad field that covers from automotive and shipbuilding to nuclear power, aerospace and mining. If it concerns the joining of metals at Meijer Handling Solutions, the welding engineer is involved in the process.
The international welding engineer directs those operations associated with welds and other types of joints that are completed in accordance with our contracts, codes, and other standards to produce a satisfactory product. His activities begin before production and continue through the production process including the inspections and quality checks all the way through until the product is ready for shipment.
