Life sometimes takes surprising turns, a few weeks ago, Meijer received an unexpected phone call from a buyer of old machinery. This man inquired if there was interest in an old set of ????????????????????????????????????????, because he understood that Meijer specialized in hydraulic and retractable forklifts. That was correct because Meijer Handling Solutions B.V. is the spiritual father of the ????????????????® ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????? ????????????????. With elation, the ReachForks were received, knowing they carried a valuable history. These hydraulic extendable forklift forks were produced in the early years of Meijer. With serial number 246, these KOOI® Forks had been produced in 1984, and most likely assembled by our oldest employee, Mr. Willem Aartsma. Seeing these forks naturally brought up all kinds of nostalgia stories.  They symbolized not only the growth of Meijer over the years, but also the dedication and craftsmanship of those who had worked on them.
